Viewpoint: Decentralized Clinical Trials Have Arrived and Staying for Good

The Covid-19 pandemic challenged every healthcare system, and the disruption of clinical trials was not least it. Many halted or did activate as sponsors investigators grappled with risk infection if patients involved in visited trial sites. studies that managed to continue complete were those immediately adopted decentralized (DCT) technologies such eSource. Patients engaged from comfort convenience their homes during use DCT technologies. flexibility recruitment, engagement, monitoring participants are among reasons why DCTs here stay.
